So many believers today will spend hours on doctrine, flat earth theory. The validity of the 25th of December, is Easter pagan or not and the list goes on and on, but ask this same believer if they can tell you what sin is and you get a rather long blank stare. How can you repent from something you do not know, how can you be changed from what you cannot even recognize?
When it comes to sin we have to understand that sin is simply disobedience to God. In the Garden of Eden where Adam and Eve sinned it came down to the fact that they made a choice, it was their decision to do what they did. Eve decided to listen to the lies of Satan rather than the wisdom of God and with the same token Adam chose to follow Eve and be dismissive as well.
Choice is what distinguishes us from the rest of creation and that is why we are made in the Image of God. Please take note that you are not God, so with this said it is clear that sin is disobedience to God and that is just it. You make the choice not to do what you are told and therefore you cannot blame anyone else but yourself for your disobedience to God.
Eve immediately blamed Satan while Adam blamed God for giving him Eve, your disobedience and when you transgress it is everyone else but you, recognize the trend? Sin is not some outside force that is detached from you that is to blame for your predicament, no it is you making the choice to listen and follow that outside influence and ignore God and His commandments for as Jesus said that if you love Him you will abide to His commandments.
Now many will say that Jesus changed the law to only Love God above all and they neighbor as thy self. Others say that the Ten Commandments was nailed to the cross and that included the 613 Laws of Moses that was some for atonement. Jesus said that He did not come to change the Law but to fulfill it, yes He kept it to the letter and was not once disobedient, He NEVR EVER SINNED!
If you do not know the will of God and His commandments then how will you know your sin? Ask yourself the following and that is may you steal, may you covet, may you murder, may you lie and then you will realize that Jesus expanded on the commandments of God in the sense that He made it more clear, as an example Jesus said if you think in a bad way of you fellow believer brother you have murdered him.
So it is very clear that Jesus did not change or abolish the commandments of God for Jesus is God on flesh and God never changes for He was, is and will be for evermore. Steal and you are disobedient, covet your neighbors wife and you are disobedient, murder someone and you are disobedient, do not love your neighbor and you are disobedient and all this today is sin and all this is the command from God and if you say it has been abolished then it means you can do all this without any consequence.
Sin is disobedience to God and the will of God, and we do not have to search far for the will of God. Many will not accept the will of God as a way to not be accountable but these poor souls are damned to say the least as every knee will bend to God and the price of His wrath will be paid. When you look at the “church” today then the story of Noah should read as follows; “In the time of Noah God drowned the sin and saved all the sinners as He so loved the people but hated the sin!”
With all this said and you have to once again make a choice as Eve and Adam did I will implore you to make the right choice or you might hear; HAPPY BLINDNESS DAY YA’ll!
2Cor 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
2Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
2Cor 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
